Christmas Clock

This is a unique piece made by August Schwer and is known as the 'Christmas Clock'.

It depicts a nativity scene, with Mary and Joseph and the mother cradling the baby Jesus in her arms with the shephers herding his sheep.

All figurines and decorative elements are made of wood and are hand-painted.
Dancing figurines made of wood, wooden dial, wooden hands, wooden cuckoo and pendulum. Wooden weights are also available.

8 day rack-strike movement with a cuckoo call on the half and full hour. The high quality Swiss (Reuge) music plays a twin melody that alternates between Edelweiss and the Happy wanderer.

Automatic night shut-off.
